Four Alaska Anchorage gymnasts were recognized with second-team awards Thursday as the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation announced its 2025 season honors.
Entering Saturday's MPSF Championship meet, senior
Montana Fairbairn has produced team-best National Qualifying Scores of 9.835 on floor exercise and 9.700 on vault to earn UAA's all-league spots on those apparatus. The Strathmore, Alberta, native was also second-team All-MPSF on floor as a junior and on vault as a sophomore.
Senior
Grace Costello earned UAA's all-league award on balance beam with a 9.690 NQS, while sophomore
Jamilia Duffus was the uneven bars honoree with a 9.705 NQS. Freshman
Hannah Boyd was recognized as an all-arounder with an NQS of 37.795.
The Seawolves host the 2025 MPSF Championship – presented by Premera – on Saturday (2 p.m. ADT) at the Avis Alaska Sports Complex. The first 40 college students with proper ID will be admitted free, while the first 300 fans will receive free sunglasses, courtesy of Premera.
