MONMOUTH, ORE. – Liv Heite and Mya Campbell combined for three wins to lead the University of Alaska Anchorage track and field teams at the John Knight Twilight hosted by Western Oregon.
Liv Heite swept the hurdles winning the 100 hurdles in 14.13 and the 400 hurdles in 1:01.56, the third-fastest time in school history.
Mya Campbell won the long jump with a leap of 5.65/18-6.5, the fifth-farthest mark in school history. She placed fifth in the high jump (1.55/5-1).
Mette Van der Meer finished third in the 100 hurdles (14.68).
Lacie Simmons ran a personal-best to finish fifth in the 400 hurdles (1:05.52) and finished sixth in the 100 hurdles (14.98).
Lucia Garcia ran 2:17.90 to finish fifth in the 800.
AJ Szewczyk ran 15.83 to finish seventh in the 110 hurdles.
Brian Morris placed seventh in the 200 (22.54), and Enrique Campbell was eighth in the 100 (10.88).
The Seawolves will travel to California next week for meets at Azusa Pacific and Long Beach State.
