LOS ANGELES, CALIF. – The University of Alaska Anchorage track and field teams concluded a busy weekend of competition with seven top-10 marks in California.
Liv Heite ran 1:00.98 in the 400 hurdles, the third-fastest time in school history, and 14.17 in the 100 hurdles.
Liv Heite joined Vivien Liessfeld, Avrey Campbell and Blanca De Arvizu Sarrias on the 4x100 relay that ran 47.62, the fourth-fastest time in school history.
Blanca De Arvizu Sarrias ran 14.35 in the 100 hurdles, fifth-best all-time, and 1:05.50 in the 400 hurdles.
Tyler Drake and Anders Larsen both ran 14.92 in the 110 hurdles, fifth-best all-time at UAA.
The Seawolves posted a pair of top-10 marks in the long jump. Sarah Dittman jumped 5.64/18-6, seventh-best all-time, and Tobin Schmidtke jumped 6.82/22-4.5, ninth-best all-time at UAA.
Riday Jana ran 10.70 in the 100, and Jason Lorig ran 10.80, the ninth-best time in school history.
Avrey Campbell ran 14.98 in the 100 hurdles and 1:04.05 in the 400 hurdles.
Vivien Liessfeld ran 14.96 in the 100 hurdles and long jumped 5.90/19-4.25.
In the 1,500, Jess Chisar ran 4:42.52. Ethan Ackroyd ran 3:48.11, Tony Ruiz 4:01.34, and Stephen Zukowski 4:05.09.
Brian Morris ran 22.34 in the 200, and Eric Bushnell threw the discus 46.24/151-8.
Other finishes in the men's long jump included, Anders Larsen (6.67/21-10.75), Tyler Drake (6.61/21-8.25) and Seth Cupper (6.33/20-9.25).
Alaska Anchorage will compete in a pair of meets hosted by Western Washington April 24-25.
