Stepping onto the court as a starter for his first game as a true freshman, Peter Bullock [2000-04] showed he was no typical rookie, scoring 23 points and making 10 of 11 shots that November night. By the end of his first season the East Anchorage High School product had set the program’s new freshman standard with 335 points, putting him on course to eventually become the Seawolves’ all-time leading scorer – a title he still holds today – with 1,902 points.

As a sophomore Bullock earned the first of three straight All-Conference honors, and in a January win over Northwest Nazarene he became only the third Seawolf basketball player to record a 40-point game. Bullock made history on his favorite stage in the Great Alaska Shootout in 2002 when he became the first Seawolf ever to lead the tournament in both scoring and rebounding, repeating his scoring title in 2003 and leaving as the tourney’s all-time leading scorer.

An All-West Region selection his final two years, Bullock capped his career by boosting the Seawolves to a 2004 NCAA Tournament berth. In addition to scoring, the 2004 Bill MacKay UAA Athlete of the Year still holds career records for field goals made (713), free throws made (456), double-doubles (48) and games started (107), along with ranks of 2nd in rebounds (974) and steals (159), and 3rd in blocks and games played (111).

Since graduating with his bachelor’s in Economics from UAA in 2004, Bullock has played professionally overseas, winning three Norwegian League (BLNO) national titles and becoming a perennial all-star. In 2012, he earned his master’s in International Business from Norges Handelshoyskole, and currently works in the shipping business.

In addition to spending time with his wife Mia and newborn son, Peter Jr., Bullock also spends time coaching and mentoring young Norwegian players.
