ANCHORAGE, ALASKA – University of Alaska Anchorage head hockey coach Matt Shasby announced that Matt Johnson has signed a National Letter of Intent to join the Seawolves.

Johnson, a 6-1, 195 lbs, forward, has recorded 29 points (12 goals, 17 assists) in 33 games. The native of Santa Fe, Texas has recorded 10 multi-point games this season.

"We are very excited for Matt Johnson to be joining us next fall," said head coach Matt Shasby. "We feel Matt has an elite skill set that will allow him to be a big contributor at the Division I level. His skating, stick skills, and hockey IQ will allow us to use him in a lot of different ways.
