ANCHORAGE (Aug. 18) – The Alaska Anchorage men's basketball team will take the Alaska Airlines Center court for 15 regular-season contests in 2023-24, as head coach
Rusty Osborne announced the Seawolves' schedule Friday.
UAA opens with the annual Seawolf Alumni exhibition game on Oct. 28, followed by the regular-season openers Nov. 3-4 against Cal Maritime. The November slate features six total home games, including a pair Nov. 24-25 against Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference foe Adams State.
The Great Northwest Athletic Conference schedule starts with early games at Montana State Billings on Nov. 30 and Seattle Pacific on Dec. 2, and the non-conference slate concludes with a trip to Honolulu Dec. 17-19 for the Hoops In Hawaii Classic, where the Seawolves will face tough D-II foes Texas-Tyler, Cal State San Bernardino and Hawaii Pacific.
The nine-game GNAC home slate begins Jan. 11 against Central Washington and Jan. 13 against Northwest Nazarene. Other key dates include Jan. 27 vs. Saint Martin's, Feb. 3 vs. Alaska Fairbanks, Feb. 17 vs. Western Washington, Feb. 29 vs. Seattle Pacific and Mar. 2 for senior night against MSU Billings.
The top six teams in the league standings advance to the GNAC Tournament, Mar. 7-9 in Ellensburg, Wash., with the NCAA West Regional Championships slated for Mar. 15-18.
