CALIFORNIA – Cole Nash of the University of Alaska Anchorage ran 13:55.71 for 5,000-meters at the Stanford Invite Friday.
The time ranks third in Div. II this season and two seconds shy of his personal-best.
The Seawolves won four events at the Mike Fanelli Track Classic.
Joshua Caleb won the 400 in 47.87, tied for fourth-fastest ever at UAA, and Liv Heite ran 14.60 to win the 100 hurdles. Heite finished third in the 400 hurdles in 1:04.88.
UAA won both 4x400 relays.
The men's team of Joshua Caleb, Anders Larsen, Morgan Grant and Tim Hunter won in a time of 3:25.33.
The women's team of Joei Vidad, Blanca De Arvizu Sarrias, Sophia Cvancara and Jessica Chisar ran 3:59.55 for the win.
The women's 4x100 relay of Mikayla Mader, Vivien Liessfeld, Liv Heite and Portia Binford finished third in 48.86.
The men's 4x100 relay of Marc Mercier, Anders Larsen, Brian Morris and Riday Jana finished fifth in 42.70.
Vivien Liessfeld jumped 17-8 to finish second in the long jump.
Blanca De Arvizu Sarrias finished fourth in the 100 hurdles (15.05) and 400 hurdles (1:07.91).
Lacie Simmons placed sixth in the 400 hurdles (1:09.25), and Riday Jana finished seventh in the 100 (11.45).
In the 110 hurdles, Anders Larson placed ninth (16.69) and Felix Robertson was 11th (17.04).
Joei Vidad and Jessica Chisar finished 10th (58.53) and 11th (58.61) in the 400.
In the 5,000, John Peckham finished 19th (14:28.75), and Nell Baker was 36th (17:18.43).
